Loyola Andalusia’s Campus is being turned into ‘Tierra de Acogida’

The Campus of the University Loyola Andalusia has become ‘Tierra de Acogida‘ for a day. The initiative, promoted by a group of students from the Faculty of Humanism and Basic Ethics, aimed to raise awareness among the university community about the refugee situation following what the students learnt during a period of Learning and Service at the NGO Entreculturas.

For the campaign, the students have organised various awareness activities, including a photograph exhibition which reflects the humanitarian crisis of refugees, and a petition has been circulated for the #YoSoyTierradeAcogida Campaign, which demands the enforcement of the immigration acceptance commitments which were agreed across Europe.
